1. About This Page
This page describes how Bundled substantiates the comparative, numerical, and outcome-related claims that appear on our marketing pages. We follow the Federal Trade Commission's long-standing requirement that advertisers hold competent and reliable evidence supporting their claims, and we maintain that evidence in our internal substantiation file.
This page explains, in plain terms, the framing, methodology, and limitations behind our marketing claims. Specific underlying figures, source data, and computed values are not published here because they include commercially sensitive information, but they are available on reasonable request from regulators, consumer advocates, and other parties with a legitimate purpose — see Section 9 below.
2. Savings Claims
2.1 Comparative Savings Framing
Where our marketing pages refer to potential savings through Bundled (for example, “save up to” a percentage, or framing language such as “hundreds” saved), we are referring to the difference between (a) the combined regular published list prices of the services included in a Bundled bundle, when subscribed to directly with each provider, and (b) the price Bundled charges for that bundle.
“Regular price” means the providers' then-current published list price for the equivalent consumer plan, excluding limited-time promotional pricing, introductory pricing, student or other restricted-eligibility pricing, and pricing tied to other commercial arrangements (such as carrier bundles or employer benefits) that an ordinary new subscriber signing up directly may not qualify for. We chose this measurement because it most closely reflects what a typical member would pay if they subscribed to each service directly rather than through Bundled.
Pricing comparisons are refreshed periodically against publicly available provider pricing. Provider pricing changes frequently, sometimes without notice, and a provider may run a promotion or offer pricing through another channel that is lower than the regular list price used in our comparison. As a result, an individual member may, at any given time, be able to obtain a lower combined price by subscribing directly with one or more providers. Bundled is not the cheapest channel for every service in every moment, and any “up to” framing on our pages reflects that some bundles, plans, and members achieve less than the top-end figure.
2.2 Average Savings Framing
Where our marketing pages refer to the average amount saved by members (for example, “hundreds saved per member” or similar framing), the figure is computed across active paying members over a trailing measurement period selected by Bundled, by comparing what each member paid Bundled against the combined regular prices of the services in that member's bundle for the same period, and then taking the mean.
Average savings figures are directional rather than predictive. Individual member savings vary widely based on bundle selection, length of membership, whether the member would have paid full list price absent Bundled, and other factors. The figures we publish are not a guarantee that any particular member will achieve any particular savings.
2.3 No Outcome Guarantee
Other than as set out in the Bundled Price Guarantee (see Section 3 below), Bundled does not guarantee that any particular member will achieve any particular level of savings. Our Terms of Use, Section 3.4 describes the limits of any savings or outcome representation in more detail.
3. Bundled Price Guarantee
The Bundled Price Guarantee, displayed on the homepage and referenced elsewhere on our site, is a commitment that the price you pay for any bundle you select will be less than the combined regular prices of the services included in that bundle, as measured at the time of purchase.
The Bundled Price Guarantee has the following terms:
- The guarantee applies to each bundle as a complete package. It does not apply to individual services purchased outside of a bundle, to add-ons priced separately, or to a bundle that has been modified after purchase by removing components.
- “Regular price” has the meaning described in Section 2.1 above — the providers' then-current published list prices, excluding promotional, introductory, student, restricted-eligibility, or carrier-bundled pricing that may be available through other channels.
- The guarantee is measured at the time you complete enrollment in the bundle. Provider pricing may change after that point.
- The guarantee does not promise that any member will be unable to find a lower combined price through some other channel, including direct provider promotions, carrier bundles, employer programs, or third-party offers.
- If, at the time of purchase, Bundled determines that the bundle you have selected does not satisfy the guarantee, we will adjust the bundle's price or composition, notify you, and offer you the option to proceed or cancel without charge.
4. Member Count and Press Mentions
4.1 What “Members” Means
Where our marketing pages refer to a count of Bundled members or members served, the figure refers to the cumulative count of unique individuals who have completed signup with a valid payment method on file, including members who have since canceled, paused, or otherwise become inactive. It does not include website visitors, waitlist signups, newsletter subscribers, or other non-converting traffic. Active paying members at any given time are a subset of the cumulative figure.
4.2 Press Mentions
The “As seen on” logos displayed on our homepage reflect news outlets that have published editorial coverage referencing Bundled. The presence of a publication's logo does not constitute an endorsement of Bundled by the publication, the journalist who wrote the article, or any affiliated entity. Editorial coverage is independent of Bundled, and Bundled has not paid for the editorial coverage referenced. The logos are used under the nominative fair use principles described on our Trademarks page.
Where Bundled has placed paid advertising, sponsored content, or other compensated placements with a publication, those placements are identified at the placement itself, not on the homepage logo strip.
5. Ratings, Reviews, and Testimonials
5.1 “Highly Rated” and Similar Framing
Where our marketing pages refer to Bundled as “highly rated” or use similar framing, we are referring to aggregate member reviews collected through our in-product feedback flow, third-party app store ratings where available, and post-onboarding survey responses, in each case across all reviews received during the measurement period and without curation, filtering, or removal of negative reviews other than reviews we reasonably believe to be spam, automated, or otherwise inauthentic.
We do not pay reviewers to leave reviews. We do not condition any incentive, benefit, refund, or service improvement on the receipt of a positive review or on the modification or removal of a negative review. We follow the Federal Trade Commission's December 2023 Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising and the FTC's August 2024 final Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials in good faith.
Star icons displayed on our marketing pages are illustrative representations of the “highly rated” framing. Where a specific numerical aggregate rating (such as “X out of 5”) is displayed on a marketing page, that figure reflects the actual aggregate across all qualifying reviews during the measurement period.
5.2 Testimonials
Testimonials displayed on our marketing pages are from real Bundled members. The text of each testimonial is presented verbatim or with minor edits for clarity, length, or grammar that do not change the substance of what the member said. The member's name is presented as first name plus last initial to protect member privacy.
Specific dollar figures mentioned in any individual testimonial reflect that individual member's experience. Individual member experiences vary based on bundle selection, length of membership, prior subscription spend, and other factors. The dollar figures in any given testimonial are not representative of, and should not be taken as a guarantee or prediction of, what any other member will save.
We do not currently pay members to provide testimonials. If in the future we begin to compensate members for testimonials (including with credits, rewards, or other consideration), we will disclose that material connection in close proximity to the testimonial itself, consistent with the FTC Endorsement Guides.
6. Auto-Cancel Trials and Other Benefits
6.1 Auto-Cancel Trials
An “Auto-Cancel Trial” means that, for trials we offer in this format, Bundled will use commercially reasonable efforts to cancel or prevent renewal of the trial before it converts to a paid subscription, unless you affirmatively instruct us to keep the trial active. Some providers' systems may convert trials to paid subscriptions in ways that we cannot reliably interrupt; in those cases, the auto-cancel behavior may not be available, and we will disclose that at the point of trial enrollment. See Terms of Use, Section 10.3 for the full terms.
6.2 Rewards
Bundled's rewards program is described in our Terms of Use, Section 12. Where our marketing pages refer to an “up to” reward rate, that figure refers to the maximum reward rate currently available across the program, achievable by some members at some times, on some eligible activities. Most reward activity does not qualify at the top-end rate. Rewards eligibility, accrual, valuation, and redemption are at Bundled's discretion and may be suspended, changed, or terminated.
6.3 “No-Click Cancellations”
This phrase refers to Bundled's commitment to provide a cancellation mechanism for your Bundled membership that does not require speaking to a live representative, accepting retention offers, or taking steps beyond those required to enroll. See Terms of Use, Section 10.7. “No-click” is a marketing simplification; cancellation does involve at least one affirmative confirmation step within the Services.
6.4 “Radical Privacy”
Bundled describes its approach to privacy as “radical” because we use Bundled-controlled payment instruments and Bundled-issued email aliases to manage your subscriptions, rather than provisioning your personal payment method and primary email at each provider. The result is that providers receive less of your personal information than they would in a direct signup. The full description of our data practices is set out in our Privacy Policy.
7. Provider Relationships and Economics
Unless a service is expressly identified by Bundled as a “Partner Service,” Bundled is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, licensed by, or otherwise formally associated with the providers whose services appear on our marketing pages or are managed through Bundled. We display third-party names and logos under the nominative fair use principles described on our Trademarks page, solely to identify the services that members can manage through our platform.
Bundled charges a single all-in bundle price covering what Bundled pays providers for the underlying services, Bundled's platform and operations costs, and any applicable margin. See Terms of Use, Section 9.3 and Section 8.5 for the full framing, including the treatment of Partner Services.
Bundled does not sell personal information for money. See Privacy Policy, Section 13.4 for our treatment of advertising and analytics technologies under U.S. state privacy laws, and Your Privacy Choices to opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Forward-Looking Statements
Some content on our marketing pages refers to features, services, partnerships, savings levels, or other outcomes that Bundled is working toward or expects to deliver. Those statements reflect Bundled's current expectations and are not guarantees of future performance. Actual results may differ based on provider behavior, regulatory developments, technology changes, and other factors outside Bundled's control.
9. Requesting Substantiation
Bundled maintains an internal substantiation file containing the specific data, methodologies, and source references behind the claims on our marketing pages. The file is updated as our pricing, member metrics, program features, and underlying market data change.
If you are a regulator, state attorney general, consumer advocate, journalist, or other party with a legitimate purpose for reviewing the specific substantiation behind a Bundled marketing claim, please contact us at legal@gobundled.com with the following information:
- your name, role, and organization (where applicable);
- the specific claim, page, or footnote you would like to review;
- the purpose of your request; and
- any deadline by which you need a response.
We will acknowledge legitimate requests promptly and will share substantiation in a form that responds to the request while protecting commercially sensitive information. Bundled does not generally publish specific underlying figures because doing so would put Bundled at an unfair commercial disadvantage relative to competitors and counterparties, and the FTC's substantiation doctrine does not require public disclosure of the underlying data.
